What kind of heart do we have?
Is it red?
Green glittering with gold? A golden heart?
Violet and divided?
Pale and white?
Black and white?
or broken hearts in this cruel world?
King David wrote these words:
” Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a stedfast spirit with me. Psalm 51: 10
He admit that alone, he can’t create his heart pure. He needed God. And so are we. But if our heart is close, hard and not open for God, God can’t do anything within us. And we will not see with our eyes, nor understand with our hearts what marvelous things God can do through us.
God said that if we hear his voice, we should not harden our hearts. ( Psalm 95:8) and that we wholeheartedly obey his teachings ( Romans 6: 17).
So friends…Jesus is knocking at the doors of our hearts. Who wouldn’t want a pure heart?
